What Would Be A Good Email Address For A Marketing And Fundraising Assistant?
I’m trying to choose a good email address for my new position and department. It needs to be something fairly generic so that the next person behind me can take up where I leave off. I’ve already got the extension (@businessname.com) so I just need the prefix. I don’t really want to use marketing@businessname.com, which seems too generic. Any ideas?

Fundraising is Development. Try development@companyname.com
developmentdept@companyname.com
That should do it. You will definitely make it. Good luck

Good question.
From a marketing standpoint, it’s always a good idea to use something simple for people to remember. For billing we use billing@yourbusiness.com, sales use sales@yourbusiness.com, ect. For your case specifically, I’d suggest using helper@yourbusiness.com or how about assistant@yourbusiness.com?
or what about using a . in the name like:
marketing.assistant@yourbusiness.com
Just some thoughts….
