Seven Email Marketing Tips

Article by Geekworldnews

Email marketing is one of the most important tools that, if used correctly, could provide immediate liquidity to any purchaser of the Internet.

This article will discuss the most successful email marketing advice to follow.

Seven Email Marketing Tips

(1) What should be the line of the email?

The success of your email marketing campaign depends strongly on the “”Open rate”for your email.”. Opening rate is the percentage of people who actually open your email. More the high open rate would be the chances of your products sold.To have a maximum of people open your email your subject line should be eye catchy. Most of the people speak of their product in the subject line itself and the receiver ignores the email assuming that any other e-mail marketing.

You should use subject lines such as the email would be to create curiosity in the mind of the receiver. This would force him / it to open the e-mail and read through it.You should avoid using words like free report, etc offers as most of the mail servers consider these words as spam & can block your email.

(2) Be specific in your email writing:

The e-mails must be written in a very brief way and the flow of discussion should attract the attention of the receiver and force him / it to read until the end of the email. Emails should be interesting and should not contain repetitive words. I would recommend that you should write very brief and interesting emails for maximum conversions.

(3) Be honest:

I have seen many internet marketing specialists send emails with incredible assertions. For example “” win $ 1,000,000 in 4 days “or”Reducing

Marketing Consultant Tips: Use Email Marketing to Your Advantage

Article by Chris Jenkinson

One of the things a specialised online marketing consultant hired to help companies maximise their ability to sell to their website’s visitors will suggest is a targeted and focused multi-level email marketing campaign. There are right ways and wrong ways to do email marketing. The right way can enhance your sales figures and strengthen your relationship with your customers and the wrong ways result in your company’s emails getting ignored — or worse: resulting in your business appearing to be “spammers”. Read on for reasons to do email marketing and for suggestions to help you do it well.

Target New Customers with Email Marketing

While there are many ways that you can market to your existing and potential customers, doing it by email can be very effective. If your customer comes to expect emails from you via a newsletter, subscription to news, updates, and product promotions, or via an online-course you can use this as an opportunity to sell to them.

Permission-based marketing is effective because you are getting someone’s attention with their permission. When people arrive on your website, giving them an opportunity to opt-in to receiving communications from you gives you an opportunity to build a mailing list for various purposes. The info you can gather from these campaigns will enable you to strategise on future marketing campaigns for repeat success or increased success.

Tip: Get your marketing consultant to help you put the process on autopilot with tools that can help you not just sell to people automatically but the tools can help you measure the success of your email marketing campaigns as well.

A lot of people will visit an optimised website without buying something on their first visit. By capturing e-mail addresses and by obtaining permission to contact them in the future, you can increase the chances of making the sale and getting repeat business as well.

Use Emails to Strengthen Existing Client Relationships

Above and beyond targeting visitors that didn’t buy something on their first visit to your site, use email marketing to continue to foster relationships with existing clients, too. A lot of your customers who buy once from your website would be willing to do it again. Email marketing also caters to nurturing a relationship with existing customers because you can provide information to them while helping to build brand loyalty. It can be like assigning them an account manager to regularly work with them without your having to hire (or pay for) that sales person.

Not all email marketing campaigns will work. Read some helpful tips to increase the success of your campaign(s):

Never add a customer’s email address to a mailing list without their permission. Just because they placed an order with you does not mean they agree to your emailing them.

Use a software or web-based programme that helps you automate the process including cancelling subscriptions for people who no longer want to receive messages.

Consider doing multi-part e-mails to get people interested and keep them reading future messages. An e-mail course, for instance, can follow a sales cycle and help you lead people to buy.

Get help from someone (such as a marketing consultant), with learning how to increase the chances of emails being read. There are tips and tricks that can increase the read rate of messages.

Try to strike a balance between regularly communicating and not inundating people. Daily is probably too often for emails and annually would (of course) not be often enough.

Best of luck with your email marketing campaign! This can be a great way to continually sell more products and maximise on the potential of each website visitor your business site gets. If you need help making the most of your email marketing, hiring a marketing consultant can improve your chances of success.

Email Marketing Tips

Article by Jun Yuan Lim

I’m sure most of you reading this post would have heard of the saying “The Money’s In Your List” right? Many Internet Marketers have been stressing about the fact that you should have a mailing list, so you can sell to these people over and over and over again. This is only partly true – Because simply by building up your mailing list is not enough to generate you profits if you are not equipped with the right email marketing skills and knowledge. You will find that no matter how many times you send emails to your subscribers, they do not act upon it.What I’m going to do in this post is to share with you 5 essential email marketing tips that will help you build up a strong relationship with your subscribers, and increase your chances of them acting upon your offers.1. Write In Your Own VoiceWrite casually – Treat your subscribers as your friend and write to them the exact same way you would write to your friends. The reason is because most of your subscribers are working-class people and, after a tiring day from work, they will not want to read another serious-toned email.2. Keep It Short & Sweet (KISS)You should keep your emails short and sweet. Keep each paragraph to at most 3 sentences and each sentence to have at most 7 – 8 words. You would also want to limit your emails to at most 3 paragraphs. If you have a very long story to tell them, you can always give them a summary of what you are going to say in your email message, followed by a link to your website where the rest of the story could be found.3. Have Only 1 Purpose Per EmailMany a times, I see that many email marketers have – in 1 single email, a link to a product they are selling, followed by a link to their latest blog post, etc. It’s way too messy and chances are, people will click on neither of the links. What you should do is to have only 1 purpose in every email that you write – If you intend to tell people about a particular article which you’ve just posted onto your blog, then in your email, you should ONLY talk about that particular article, as well as a link for them to read the whole article, and nothing else.Likewise, if you would like to promote a particular product and/or service in your email message, then you should give them a brief introduction about it, along with one single most beneficial benefit about the product and/or service, followed by a direct link to that product and/or service.4. Text/HTML?In my personal opinion, text emails always work better compared to HTML emails – Because some of them may be using their smartphones, or PDAs to check their emails and if your email is in HTML format, it may not be displayed the way that you want it to be on their smartphones or PDAs (and chances are they are going to delete it and your email message will never be able to get across to your subscribers).5. Do Not SpamPeople hate spammers. So, do not spam your subscribers’ mailbox with your email messages (by doing so will only get you into trouble with the legal authorities). What I would generally advice is that you should not send your subscribers more than 1 email message in 1 single day (unless it’s really, really urgent and you need to send them a 2nd email message). Instead, what you can do is that you can send a email message to your subscribers once every 3 to 5 days (either to share a new blog post that you’ve just published, or recommend a product and/or service). So, there you have it, I’ve just shared with you 5 email marketing tips that will help you with your email marketing campaigns. Bear these 5 tips in mind and I’m pretty sure that you’ll have very successful email marketing campaigns.

List Building Strategies – 6 Email Marketing Tips

Article by Ernest Morse

In this writing I explain list building strategies utilizing email marketing to increase your lead generation opportunities. Email marketing will increase your marketing brand efforts and marketing promotional efforts through the leverage of email.

The best instrument you will ever have in your list building strategy by far is your email list. Your email list, or your opt-in list, is utilized to build your strategy for lead generation. The biggest downfall for internet marketers and online businesses is their inability to extend their lead generation tactics and skills. On average, it takes 7 views of the product or service you are offering before your customer or prospect moves forward with buying. Using email marketing and list building strategies offered here, you can add to your opt-in list to create drastic results.

1. Ask for the Email – It seems simple enough, but I have seen far too often websites that do not even attempt to acquire the visitor’s email. To build your email list, you must first inquire of the person’s email or you will lose a valuable chance to promote your website in the future.

2. Add an Opt-in List Form to Your Website – Another simple strategy that is going back to requesting the visitor’s email. The advantage of the opt-in form is to acquire your prospect’s name and e-mail. After they enter their name and email, they will be put in your opt-in list or email list (the two terms are the same). This will give you a way of putting your brand and opportunity in front of the prospect.

3. Offer Free Gifts – This is by far the best strategy often over-looked by most email marketing campaigns. Part of your online marketing tactic, whatever tactic you use, must be to offer gifts. Offering gifts will entice someone to enter your email list and will help later with your marketing promotion efforts. More over, this is good for your marketing brand because it builds trust.

4. Use Social Media Too – Tools like Facebook and Twitter are perfect compliments for lead generation. Tell everyone in your social media networks about your great new newsletter. report, or recent blog post and the benefits to them spending their time to view your resources. People will run to your mailing list quickly.

5. Recruit Your Follower’s Friends – In your e-mails you send to your list, let them know that it is permissible to “tell a friend”. If your subscriber likes your content, they most likely will have a friend who likes it too. This is a great strategy to take advantage of for your marketing promotion efforts.

6. Use Pay Per Click Marketing – I must say from the start, I definitely Do Not recommend pay per click as a way to build an opt-in list, unless you’re an experienced copywriter who knows how to convert traffic into opt-ins. PPC is another great tool mainly because you can aim right for the specific audience you want to advertise to and desire in your opt-in list.

Email is a one of the best ways to increase your marketing brand and enhance your marketing promotion efforts online. If used correctly, you can enjoy the many checks that will be coming in the mail, but only if you use this list building tactic in a respectful manner. DO NOT maliciously trick people to opt in to your list. This will Kill your marketing brand. No one likes to be tricked or spammed.
