How to Make Your Email Marketing Strategy Work

According to recent research, an email marketing strategy based on voluntary sign ups will lead to high conversion rates. Email marketing has come a long way over the years, and it has become something more than just a failed strategy for spammers. Just as long as the emails are sent out to potential leads that have shown interest in them, they can bring in a lot of success.

If you’ve been thinking about giving an email marketing strategy a try, you need to make sure you do it correctly. You can’t just spam to thousands or even millions of emails-you can get into a lot of trouble for that these days. It wouldn’t do you any good anyway, since it will just go to the spam filters rather than inbox.

Thanks to the invention of spam filters, though, the email marketing strategy is easier on the rest of us. Have a form on your website or blog for visitors to fill out so that they can request more information about your service or product. Send out regular emails to keep them updated. Make sure you give them the opportunity to opt-out anytime they wish.

However, if you make the emails very appealing and interesting, you won’t have to worry about anyone ever wanting to opt-out! Additionally, they may also tell all their friends about your business as well. Wouldn’t it defeat the purpose of having an email marketing strategy if subscribers end up unsubscribing?

If you want your email marketing strategy to work, then there are a few things you need to know.

• Presentation. The formatting and graphics need to be visually appealing. Your email marketing strategy won’t work at all if you send your members sloppy, hard to read emails. Also keep in mind that a lot of email providers are blocking out graphics in messages. You should therefore give your readers an option to sign up for text or html versions of your emails.

• Content. Give your subscribers something interesting to read. Tell them something that you think they would want to know. Since they voluntarily signed up for your email list, they must already have some interest. Make the subject line very catchy as well.

• Discounts, coupons, and freebies. Everyone loves good deals and freebies. One of the most surefire ways to get an email marketing strategy to work is to offer subscribers special deals. It won’t hurt to offer your readers a little discount or freebie. Let them know that you’ll only be offering the special to them. Hopefully, they’ll enjoy the freebie or sample and will come back for more.

• Try to get to know your readers. Provide surveys for them to fill out and offer prizes upon completion. Encourage them to leave comments and to give feedback. You can still remain professional while getting to know your potential customers a little bit. An email marketing strategy shouldn’t always be “strictly business”.

You can win at the game of email marketing strategies by following these tips. You don’t have to remain in the dark forever when it comes to email marketing. Even if you’ve tried in the past and failed, try these tips and start over again. A good email marketing strategy will bring a lot of leads and even sales. This has been proven time and time again, and you can bring your business plenty of success by sending your subscribers well put together, informative, and fun emails!

Why Does Bulk Email Marketing Work?

Saturday, March 20th, 2010

Promoting your website its not an easy task. Online marketing changes constantly, but one thing that will never change its bulk email marketing. Search engine submission has turned into a science rather than a simplified way of advertising. Pay per click is very expensive and very competitive -and don’t get me going about “click fraud”-I’ll never stop yapping! But like I said, bulk email marketing will never run its course. Massive campaigns work … you just got to know what you’re doing. Let me give you some free pointers:

1. You need a good list. Watch our for scams and old outdated list. You have to make sure email lists don’t have .gov and .org. This is a sure way to shut you down fast. Be patient and smart and you’ll make a whole bunch of money. See http://www.emailmadness.com for a good email list.

2. Never use your internet service provider to send mass mailings (that’s basic). You don’t’ want to get banned from internet service. Get a bulk emailer software that becomes its own isp server. You get them anywhere on the internet. My favorite is Mass mailer and Fxstyle’s bulk emailer but you can check out http://www.yahoo.com and look for “bulk email software”. There are some good ones out there.

3. Never spam. Don’t force people to buy your stuff. Give away free stuff or free information. This gains trust and you’ll be able to sell them your product or idea in the long run.

4. Bulk email works. Stay within the law. Get rid of those that unsubscribers from your list. You want buyers anyway. Who needs them.

5. Be patient. I have made in one mailing several thousands of dollars and I have never had a complaint.

And why does bulk email marketing work? People are buyers. They are naturally curious. No matter how much they hate being bombarded with offers … one thing is for sure… people just love products and information. Everyone wants the new gimmick. Give them your trust and they’ll make you rich!

You want hungry buyers? Head over to: http://www.emailmadness.com bulk email list. This list is updated regularly and most of these people have agreed to be contacted for offers.

But remember, everyone is a consumer. Think this way … and you’ll never be broke again.

How Autoresponders Work

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

At some point in our Internet lives, a majority of us have received a message from an autoresponder. It could have been a short response letting you know that the individual is away, or an email thanking you for something that you have done. Perhaps it was even an email letting you know about upcoming products, or even an email letting you know that a message you tried to send couldn’t be delivered.

Each one of these messages is all but a different version of a useful program known as an autoresponder. Autoresponders are very useful tools, as they will automatically send out an answer to any email that they receive. The answer that they send out however, will all depend on the messages that you have the program set up with. Autoresponders are very flexible, and most will hold a variety of pre set messages.

The very first autoresponders were used with email providers or email transfer agents. Whenever an email you sent out couldn’t be delivered to the recipient, it would send you an automatic response letting you know that your mail couldn’t be delivered. Although these programs were somewhat helpful, they weren’t all that sophisticated.

Over the years, autoresponders have changed quite a bit, proving to be very useful with big companies and even Internet marketing. These days, autoresponders are used by businesses and companies to give immediate response and feedback to interested clients and subscribers. This could include a response about programs, information about pricing, specific details regarding a product, and even a time that someone from the company can get in touch with the client.

In the world of Internet marketing, staying in touch with clients is easier than ever with an autoresponder. They will save you a quite a bit of time, especially when you think about how long it would take you to personally send email responses to each and every email you get. If you run a business, you probably get hundreds of emails a day. An autoresponder can simplify your life, by sending out a preset message response to each and every email you receive.

You can set up an autoresponder using either one or two methods – an outsourced ASP model and server side model. When using an outsourced ASP model, the company wishing to use the autoresponder will their business model will contract through an outside provider. This outside provider will then give the company user access to a web based system, or control panel. From the control panel, the company or individual can set up the autoresponder, preset messages, and decide how the autoresponder will handle the many different types of emails. One of the best services we have found is www.Automatic-Responder.com their service is top notch. To use these types of services, the individual or company will have to pay the autoresponder provider a flat monthly fee.

Server side autoresponders are a bit different. Basically, they are programs that a company or individual installs themselves and runs it on their own computer or server. You can save money with these programs, as you don’t have to pay a provider to operate the autoresponder. Although server side autoresponders weren’t user friendly in the beginning, they have become easier and easier to operate over the years – and are now the most popular type of autoresponder.

In all actuality, autoresponders are great to have. They are very reliable, and can easily save you a lot of time. The way the different types work can be a bit perplexing, although most are easy to use and easy to implement into your website. If you own or operate an online business – an autoresponder is something you should never find yourself without.

I’m talking about the ones that provide millions of email addresses for $30.

Need A Free, Simple, Autoresponder That Will Work With Forms?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Here’s what I am looking to do:
I want to collect names and e-mail addresses on my web site so people can sign up for me e-newsletter.
I just want people to fill in a name field, an e-mail field, and click submit. Then, I want the emails sent to me and the user gets forwarded to the next page of the site.
I’m looking for software that’s free, easy to use (for someone like me with very basic, static html knowledge), and does not have advertising on it.
THANK YOU for any help.
